"What's the difference between our Halos? Halo/Deluxe/Premium/VIP"

The only difference between our Halo products is simply more hair on the wefts for thicker/fuller finish.

"What are Clip-In extensions?"

If you're new to the world of hair extensions then these are perfect for you! Halo London Clip-In hair extensions are very easy to place in your own hair. They have the added bonus of blending in to your hair to be virtually undetected by everyone around you!

"I'd like to wear hair extensions but I'm not sure if my hair is long enough. How long does my hair need to be to wear clip-in hair extensions?"

In a perfect world your hair would be almost touching your shoulders before you start looking at extensions. But we know many customers who have achieve a perfect look with even shorter hair! If you're not sure if hair extensions are suitable for you why not send us a recent photo? We'll give you an honest opinion if you can make it work!

"I don't think I can see my hair colour in your selection. What colour should I pick?"

For some people choosing hair extensions is very easy and for others it can be difficult to get an exact match to your own hair. Your goal should be to either find a match or something that might blend in nicely. If you are struggling to find the right shade we certainly can help!

"How long will my hair extensions last?"

Hair extensions should have an average life of anywhere from 3 to 6 months. This can be a lot longer or a lot less depending on how well the extensions are cared for, used and stored. The general rules are to avoid excessive heat, excessive brushing or excessive washing. Treat the hair with the same love and respect you should your own hair!

"What is Remy?"
Remy (also referred to as remi) is not a brand but rather a grading system for hair extensions. When purchasing remy hair you are getting hair that is confirmed as cuticle correct. This means that the hair is prepared so that every strand flows in the same downward direction. This is a must for human hair extensions as it means the extensions will flow naturally with your own hair and be far less likely to matt or tangle when worn.
"What are the clips made of in Halo products?"

Our clips are 28mm long with silicon tubing to ensure they maintain a stronger and longer lasting grip!

All clips on our Clip In products are under a lifetime guarantee. If they break you can send it back to us and we will replace you clip for you. 

"Can I straighten, curl, cut and wash Halo London human hair extensions?"
Absolutely! In fact you can treat them just like you would your own hair! Just remember, like your own hair, human hair extensions are not indestructible. So treat them with care and respect! See our hair care page for more details! We always advise using a heat protector serum/spray and a shampoo that is SULPHATE FREE.
"How long should my hair extensions be?"

If you're just wanting volume, then close to your own length is fine! If you want to achieve any length, ideally choose a length a minimum of 4" longer than your own hair!
Just send us a photo of your hair in natural daylight (no artificial/flash lighting) and a member of our Halo London team will recommend the best colour for you & the best length if you want purely length, volume or both!

12" comes to just past your shoulders.
16" falls to near your bra strap.
20" would finish roughly at the middle of your lower back.
24" will come to the bottom of your back.



"How should I brush my hair extensions?"

When brushing use a soft bristle brush, start at the ends of your hair and gently work your way up. Always brush in a downward motion. Do not brush harshly or when soaking wet!

We sell a Paddle Brush & Tangle Brush which are fantastic to keep your Halo hair extensions smooth, straight and tangle free. Please visit the Accessories page to purchase yours! 

"Can I dye halo hair extensions?"

You can certainly colour our extensions as they are 100% Indian Human Remy Hair. If you choose to dye your Halo Hair Extensions, as with your own hair it is best only to dye them a few shades darker. Completely saturate the hair extensions in the hair dye to ensure an even application and leave for the recommended time. 

We DO NOT recommend using any bleach or lightening agents on the hair as this may cause damage to the extensions and your own hair.

We strongly recommend you seek salon assistance in colouring your hair or Halo hair extensions as we cannot guarantee results or be held responsible for failed dye attempts that results in damage or wrong colour creations.

"Is buying from the Halo London website secure?"
Yes! All your data is protected and encrypted during the transaction and we do not store any card details on our server. Our SSL certificate provides protections for all transactions to ensure your data remains safe and private. Our retail clients do not have their credit/debit card details kept or stored after payment.
"I'm waiting for an email from Halo but I haven't received it?"
No need to panic! Please check your junk or spam email folder first as sometimes its easy for a new message to be sent there instead of your inbox! If there is no message please feel free to send an email directly to us at info@halohairextensions.com and we'll confirm your order for you!
"What payment methods do you accept?"

We accept most major Credit & Debit Cards. 

 We also Acept Klarna and Payl8r Buy Now, Pay Later Finance

Regrettably we cannot accept PayPal, bank transfers, cheques, postal orders, money orders or cash. Please do not send money in the mail as any money received will be donated to charity. If your payment isn't successful for any reason please contact us at info@halohairextensions so we can help!


"What is 3d Secure?"
We have implemented 3D secure for Halo London customers, quite simply it is for your personal security when purchasing online from us. We aim to make sure every customer of Halo Hair Extensions has a happy and easy checkout process and feels safe when entering personal details. Explained below by our merchant account holder Stripe. The 3D Secure standard?often known by its branded names like Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, or American Express SafeKey?aims to reduce fraud and provide added security to online payments. "Why has my Payl8r order not gone through?"
We always recommend you use the following browsers to complete your Payl8r order. Goggle Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Edge, When using Safari you may encounter an issue.

"How much is delivery?"

For our UK customers: Shipping is a complimentary next day service for any order placed before 3pm Monday - Friday (Tracked 24)

£5 can be paid to upgrade delivery to Guaranteed Next Day Service beford 1PM! All orders must be placed before 3pm (Mon-Fri) for next day delivery.

We offer free Fed Ex shipping for all North American & Canadian clients and your parcel should arrive within 2-3 business days. Other international customers have a flat shipping fee of £14.99 - regardless of destination.

"When will I receive my order?"

In the UK all orders placed before 3pm Mon-Fri should be received the next business day depending whihc delivery service you chose.

Orders in the evenings (afrer 3pm) and weekends will be processed & despatched on Monday (excluding bank holiday mondays) Please note: We can't predict delays due to weather or traffic conditions. That could potentially result in a delay or late delivery so we just ask for your patience in the unlikely event that happens!

Our USA & Canadian customers will receive their parcel via Fed Ex within 1-2 business days. Outside the UK, USA & Canada, items typically arrive in approximately 10 business days. Delays can occur depending on how fast items can clear customs and your local delivery services. If your item hasn't arrived within 3 business days time frame please allow for any delivery issues that may be happening (postal strike action, extreme weather, odd delay). We promise to get you your item as quickly as possible to you in these rare circumstances and will continue to track your parcel until it arrives!

"How quickly after receiving my payment do you send my order?"

Very quickly! Orders must be placed Mon-Fri before 3pm for same day despatch. In fact your Halo will be shipped typically within hours of successful payment.


"How will you send my order?"

Currently we are shipping all orders via Royal Mail or Fed Ex.

Royal Mail = Tracked 24 or Special Guaranteed before 1PM

FedEx = 2-3 Business days. 

In some circumstances we may use an alternative if necessary. For our International customers, your local postal service will deliver your item. All items will be sent with a tracking number that is emailed to your registered email address after the item is shipped! Check your junk email folder if you haven't received this tracking number within 1 business day!

"I made a mistake with my order! Can I change it?"

We’ll certainly try for you! If your products haven’t been shipped yet we can always make amendments and are happy to do so! Just email us at info@halohairextensions and if necessary a member of our team will contact you to assist!

Please note that if your package has already been shipped we are unable to recall it and you will need to return it to us if you need it exchanged.

"Can I cancel my order?"

Of course! In the UK all online selling is governed by the Distance Selling Regulations and the Sale of Goods Act! So you have the right to cancel any order before it is shipped for a full refund. If you have received the item and would like a refund that's okay too BUT as long as the item hasn't been untied, tried on or tampered with you can return for a Refund or Exchange.

Please note funds typically are returned to your account within 3-5 business days but can take up to 28 days depending on your bank.

"I think I received the wrong item - what can I do?"

Dont' worry! We would be happy to try and correct the situation for you! Please contact us with your order number so we can correct the error and have the right product to you as quickly as possible!

Please send in photos with your email so we can check it out for you. 

"If I'm not happy with my product can I return it?"

Of course! We want the process of buying from Halo London to be as stress-free as possible!

We offer all our customers a money back guarantee when purchasing from Halo London. You're welcome to return any item within 7 days of receiving it providing you haven't untied it from its packaging, tried on or tampered with the item.

All items untied, re-tied back together, tried on or tampered with will not be allowed back for Refund or Exchange. ?
